Additionally, for those interested in fishing or camping, Bluegrass Boat Rentals also offers kayak rentals and supplies like live bait, minnows, and nightcrawlers. Full days only

There are 3 float routes available for use on Buckhorn Lake, perfect for those interested in water exploration. The routes follow the middle fork of the Kentucky River and include:
- To the bridge (about 3 hours without paddling)
- From the bridge (about 4 hours without paddling)
- To Crockettsville (about 6 hours without paddling)
Along the way, you'll find great fishing opportunities, making it a fantastic choice for anglers. Most kayaks available from Bluegrass Boat Rentals are fishing kayaks, and you can even find kayak rental live bait minnows and nightcrawlers for your fishing needs. There are also a few public sandbars where you can relax, enjoy lunch, or stretch out for a quick nap.
Pickup and drop-off services are available for $55 per group, with free delivery to the Buckhorn campground.

To enhance your adventure, we provide life jackets, all necessary safety gear, fuel, and complimentary delivery to and from the Buckhorn Lodge. A $50 refundable damage deposit is required, with a 2-person minimum for rentals. Additionally, a $25 non-refundable reservation deposit will be applied to the total cost of your rental. For those interested in fishing, we offer kayak rental options along with live bait such as minnows and nightcrawlers. We’re happy to reschedule if needed, ensuring your outdoor experience remains enjoyable!

Fuel and delivery to and from the Buckhorn Lodge are included in the package, along with a $50 refundable damage deposit and a $25 non-refundable reservation deposit.
